Lynn Lowry gives one of the all-time great psychotic mother performances in Basement Jack, directed by Michael Shelton. Thanks to her character’s completely insane, torturous, abusive behavior, her son grows up to be a serial killer who lives in his victims basements until he eventually murders everyone in their homes.
Lowry is a scream queen veteran, having starred in both versions of The Crazies, David Cronenberg’s They Came From Within, Paul Schrader’s Cat People and lots more.
